Daniel Shulak
Dan Shulak is an associate in our Antitrust, Competition, and Economic Regulation practice group. Dan focuses on antitrust litigation, antitrust clearance of mergers and acquisitions, criminal cartel investigations, and other non-merger antitrust investigations. Dan represents clients in matters before the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, as well as in litigation before U.S. Federal District Courts. In addition to his work on behalf of clients, Dan is active in firm activities and pro bono matters. Dan serves on the firm’s D.C. and National Associates’ Committees, as well as on the Summer Associate Committee. He is a regular volunteer at the Landlord Tenant Resource Center and at the Legal Aid Society, and he currently is involved in several ongoing pro bono litigation matters. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Dan served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Prosecutions Bureau at the New York State Office of the Attorney General where he prosecuted white-collar crimes. While in law school, he was an Executive Managing Editor of the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal and the recipient of several awards for academic and public service achievement. Prior to attending law school, Dan was a legal assistant in legacy firm Hogan & Hartson’s pro bono department and the founder/operator of his own small business.
