Dr. Luu Huong Ly is the Legal Expert (Civil & Economic Law Department) for Vietnam’s Ministry of Justice. Dr. Luu Huong Ly is the Deputy Head of Labour Law and Social Security Division, Department of Civil and Economic Law, Ministry of Justice of Vietnam. Before joining the MOJ, she worked as an Associate Professor at Hanoi Law University and a Senior Advisor for ANVLaw Lawyers & Consultants. She holds an LLM and PhD in Competition Law from the National University of Singapore. Her research interests are principally in competition law, commercial law, WTO law and dispute resolution. Dr. Huong Ly has published several book chapters and articles in this area including “Vietnam” in “Competition Law in Asia-Pacific: A Practitioner’s Guide”, and “Regional Harmonization of Competition Law and Policy : An ASEAN Approach”, and has co-authored the official textbook on Vietnam’s competition law for Hanoi Law University (in Vietnamese).
