Ying Huang
Ying Huang is a Chinese Counsel and International Government Affairs Senior Director in Steptoe's Washington office, where she is a member of the International Department. Ms. Huang has been working at Steptoe for ten years on US-China regulatory and government affairs matters after having practiced law in China for six years. Ms. Huang's practice focuses primarily on international trade remedies, government affairs, and regulatory compliance. Ms. Huang's experience provides Steptoe clients with advice and insight that bridge US-China cultural and legal differences. Prior to joining Steptoe, Ms. Huang served as Senior Legal Counsel to the Shanghai office of a foreign law firm, where she provided legal advice to multinational corporations investing in China, designed optimal investment strategies, and participated in commercial negotiations regarding all aspects of foreign investment. She has also handled trade matters for a large Chinese trading company and advised government officials regarding foreign investment regulatory policy.
