Apple has settled a two-year class action lawsuit over the iPhone 4’s faulty antenna that caused dropped calls. The lawsuit’s legal grounds ranged from unfair competition, false and misleading advertising, breach of warranty and acting deceptively to sell a product.
The settlement offers consumers who bought the iPhone 4 the choice of either $15 or a free bumper case. Lead attorney Ira Rothken estimates the number of eligible consumers at more than 21 million.
