Argentina: DAK purchases recycling operation

    DAK produces polyethylene terephthalate resins; reports say the firm’s purchase will allow it to include post-consumer recycled materials into its manufacturing process. Following the merger, the new products will be marketed under the DAK Laser+ brand.

    Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed by the parties, and the deal is subject to approval by national competition regulators.
