Ashurst Expands Antitrust Practice With Frankfurt Partner Appointment

Global law firm Ashurst has announced the appointment of Sergej Bräuer as a partner in its Antitrust, Regulatory & Trade practice, based in Frankfurt, marking another step in the firm’s expansion of its German and international competition law capabilities.

    According to a statement from the firm, Bräuer brings years of experience advising clients across the full spectrum of antitrust and competition law, as well as foreign investment control. His work has included leading merger control proceedings, coordinating global regulatory filings, and advising on cartel damages actions. Per a statement, his practice has a particular emphasis on cartel investigations, compliance management, and the design of distribution systems and cooperation agreements.
