The Botswana Confederation of Commerce Industry and Manpower (BOCCIM) has urged the Competition Authority (CA) to exercise fairness when conducting investigations in all its cases. The CA is vital to policy an economy that is characterized by unfair market dominance, monopolization of key sectors of the economy, limited market entry, and predatory price fixing. The ultimately goal of the CA is to promote fair competition among traders doing business in the country, while fostering innovation and investments.
