Brazil: AT&T/Time Warner want concessions limited to behavioral changes

AT&T and Time Warner have responded to Brazil’s antitrust regulator, CADE, and are asking for unconditional approval of their US$85 billion merger.

    The regulator received a statement from the two companies which points out that Ecuador and Colombia are similarly affected by the proposed merger and have already given unconditional approval.

    The companies also stated that they would prefer behavioral changes as concessions rather than divestitures.
