California jury rules in Hynix’s favor against Rambus

Hynix has announced that the San Francisco court reviewing Rambus’ allegations against it has ruled in Hynix’s favor, with nine of 12 jurors finding no antitrust violations.

    Rambus had brought suit in 2004, claiming that Hynix and Micron conspired to fix the price of their memory chips, and that as a result, Rambus’ RDRAM had to exit to the market. Rambus has an opportunity to appeal his decision within 60 days.
