The Bureau announced charges against Construction Beaudin & Courville Inc., along with its president Alain Courville.

The charges come following an investigation with officials in Quebec. Reports say road construction contracts and other projects between 2008 and 2009 were in question.

According to officials, a deep bid-rigging scheme was uncovered that lead to preferential treatment for Courville’s company.

The charges come as part of a larger investigation into widespread construction bid-rigging in the area.
