Caribbean: Claims against competition authority’s wrongdoing thrown out in court

The Caribbean Court of Justice has thrown out a case made against the Caricom Competition Commission by Trinidad Cement Limited. The cement company had alleged that the Caricom Competition Commission investigated Trinidad Cement without the company’s permission and that that the Commission “failed to respect the rights of the TCL as an interested party.” The court dismissed these claims.
