China: New law firm adds to nation’s growing antitrust practice

A dozen partners have left some of China’s top law firms to establish their own antitrust firm, named AnJie Law Firm. About fifty lawyers have been hired thus far. The new firm will be led by antitrust specialist Zhan Hao, who is, at present, executive committee member at Beijing’s Grandall Law Firm. Operations are set to begin in November, with about forty new lawyers expected to join. The new firm reflects China’s growing antitrust movements, a practice area relatively new to the nation.
