The Justice Department’s Antitrust Division and the NLRB have penned a new interagency agreement that will allow them to share information and coordinate enforcement actions on labor and antitrust violations.
The memorandum of understanding announced Tuesday is the latest agreement meant to forward President Biden’s July 2021 executive order compelling federal agencies to crack down on anticompetitive practices.
Antitrust division and NLRB staff will consult on specific complaints and unfair labor practice charges and refer violations to each other, under the new agreement. The agencies will also establish systems for coordinating respective investigations and enforcement actions, according to the memorandum.
