EU: Three Judges appointed to the Court of Justice

    Mr Nils Wahl (Sweden) was appointed as judge to the Court of Justice for the period from 7 October 2019 to 6 October 2024. He will replace Mr Carl Gustav Fernlund following his resignation as of 7 October 2019.

    Mr Roberto Mastroianni (Italy) and Ms Ornella Porchia (Italy) were appointed as judges to the General Court. Their term of office will run from 1 September 2019 to 31 August 2025. The appointments were made as part of the partial renewal of the composition of the General Court, which will see the term of office of 23 judges expire on 31 August 2019.
