Before rejoining Gibson Dunn, France served as an attorney in the Mergers IV Division of the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) Bureau of Competition from 2015 to 2021.  In that position, she held lead roles on high-profile merger investigations and enforcement actions in the healthcare, consumer products, retail, and casino industries, and she was a member of the FTC’s trial teams on several litigated merger challenges.  Previously, she was an associate attorney at Gibson Dunn from 2012 to 2015.

“We are thrilled that Jamie decided to rejoin Gibson Dunn after an impressive tenure of public service at the FTC,” said Stephen Weissman, global Co-Chair of the Antitrust and Competition Practice Group.  “Her agency and litigation experience will be of great benefit to our clients as antitrust enforcement, both government and private, appears to be ramping up significantly.”
