India: CCI rejects complaint against largest real estate company

The Competition Commission of India has rejected allegations that realty major DLF, Indias largest real estate company, indulged in unfair business practices with regard to a commercial project.

    The matter relates to booking of a commercial shop by the complainant at DLF Universal‘s project Prime Tower in Okhla, New Delhi.

    Rejecting the allegations, the Competition Commission of India said that DLF Universal does not appear to be dominant in the relevant market and hence “the question of abuse of dominance by it does not arise”.
