India/Japan: Fujitsu, Panasonic secure JV approval

    According to reports, Fujitsu, Panasonic and the Development Bank of Japan have been cleared by the CCI to proceed with their partnership aimed at the “large-scale integration [of] design and development of certain logic integrated circuit products.”

    The companies announced the venture plans earlier this year; Indian officials have determined that the collaboration will not harm competition in the nation, especially as the Development Bank of Japan, owned by the Japanese government, does not operate in India.
