Israel: Regulation uncertainty in natural gas case

The Israel Antitrust Authority (IAA) is not planning any follow-up hearings with Delek Energy, Ratio Oil and Noble Energy on whether the Leviathan partnership constitutes a monopoly, they announced on Thursday.

    In december Israel’s antitrust authority recommended the break-up of the “monopoly” of Noble Energy and conglomerate Delek Group for developing the huge Leviathan natural gas field off the country’s Mediterranean coast.

    The authority has given no indication on when the dispute will be concluded.
