The Ministry of Justice and the Korean Bar Association have approved the opening of Covington & Burling’s third office on the continent, a firm focusing on U.S. and European antitrust and competition law advisement to Korean companies, among other areas. Senior counsel Daniel Spiegel has said the new office comes at a time of expansion of South Korean companies into territories abroad, generating the necessity for multinational antitrust law specialization.
