Legislative Council passes Hong Kong’s first competition regime

Hong Kong’s Legislative Council has passed the Competition Bill. It was first introduced in 2010, with six major amendments made in October 2011. The Bill addresses anti-competitive conduct and fair competition, and establishes the Competition Commission and the Competition Tribunal as enforcement bodies.
