Mexico: Hogan Lovells expands Latin America presence

Competition law firm Hogan Lovells has heightened its presence in Latin America with a recent partnership with Mexico’s Barrera, Siqueiros y Torres Landa, leading to two new offices in the nation.

    According to reports, Hogan Lovells will begin operating its two new offices as Hogan Lovells BSTL on August 1. The new locations will include 70 lawyers and specialize in the industries of media and telecoms, energy, real estate and others.

    BSTL is a leading competition and antitrust law firm, according to the Legal 500.

    Hogan Lovells recently launched a new office in Brazil as well, and late last year had also boosted its presence in South Africa.
