Mongolia: Nation begins event to implement peer review recommendations to antitrust law

An event to analyze the results of a peer review of competition law and policy for Magnolia will be held in a two-day conference in Ulaanbaatar. Mongolia voluntarily entered into the peer-review agreement in 2011 for its Authority for Fair Competition and Consumer Protection; the new chairman of the AFCCP will open the event with goals of analyzing and ultimately implementing changes and recommendations made for the nation to improve its competition law. According to the report, a “broad range” of stakeholders will also be involved in the event and encouraged to support the desired changes of competition legislation.
