    The German Cabinet approved draft antitrust regulations in March. However, the President of the Bundeskartellamt, Andreas Mundt, has voiced his concerns with perceived loopholes in the proposals. Mundt told German newspaper Handelsblatt that the rules, while increasing the Bundeskartellamt’s powers, nevertheless let companies off the hook by closing or restructuring the offending units.
