Russia: Regs may still review approved potash merger

 |  January 28, 2014

Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service has reportedly cleared ONEXIM’s planned buyout of potash conglomerate Uralkali, despite earlier reports that the FAS extended its review by two months.

Authorities further confirmed that Uralkali was contacted by the FAS and told to meet certain requirements following the merger. Details on what those requirements are were not reported.
