A deal between CapVest and Lantemannen has been announced as the two look to form a major poultry producer of the Nordic region. The new company, which will lead the market, is the result of a dual-acquisition of Sweden’s and Denmark’s Kronfagel Group as well as Norway’s Cardinal Foods. According to reports, the deal will allow the expansion of the market throughout international markets. The parties have publically praised the deal, noting that the acquisition presents a strong platform within the industry throughout Scandinavia.
