Schott Glass India fined Rs 5.66 crore for abusive practices in glass tube market
The Competition Commission of India has fined Schott Glass India Rs 5.66 crore for abuse of its dominant position in the borosilicate glass tube market. Kapoor Glass also claimed that Schott drove competitors out of the market (including Kapoor Glass) by selling tubes at low prices, rewarding loyalty discounts to manufacturers, and poaching employees from rival glass tube sellers.
