Spain: Antitrust lawyer Pedro Callol goes solo

Pedro Callol has started his own specialty law firm to focus on competition matters, a move that saw the lawyer and his team leave Roca Junyent in Madrid.

    Callol launched Callol Law to focus on competition matters within areas including consumer goods, TMT and distribution.

    The lawyer had previously lead investigations and legal proceedings concerning cartel cases in several markets. Callol also has experience advising state aid and abuse of dominance cases, and led one of the first leniency-related proceedings within Spain, say reports.
