Spain: More than $175K in fines served to construction contractor

After finding the company guilty of fixing prices and sharing market sensitive information with competitors, Spain’s competition regulator the CNC has fined construction contractor Campezo more than $175,000. The collusive behavior surrounded bids for contracts to asphalt roads. According to reports, the CNC found sufficient proof of violations of the Competition Act for the contracts in two cities.
