Thailand: Suspicion over how companies won access to 3G network

The Central Administrative Court is now questioning whether three companies that won slots with access to the 3G network spectrum earned the slots fairly. While there were no direct allegations of bid-rigging, the Court apparently questioned the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission on the matter of whether Advanced Wireless Network of Advanced Info Service, DTAC Network of Total Access Communications and True Corp’s Real Future had faced genuine competition in efforts to gain 3G access.
