Turkey Deepens Probe On VW, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Mercedes-Benz

A preliminary investigation against Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW has resulted in the decision for a full probe, Turkey’s antitrust board announced in an emailed statement.

    The probe is related to cooperation between the companies on various issues, including maximum speed limit for radar speed control system and prevention of gasoline particulate filter use.

    The board stated it’s allowed to exercise its authority in the cases where actions of foreign-based companies impact the Turkish market.
