U.K.: Parker-Olaer merger approved by OFT

Parker, a worldwide diversified manufacturer of motion and control technology systems, has acquired indirectly, through a sale and purchase agreement, share capital in Olaer Group Limited (Olaer), an active manufacturer and supplier of hydraulic accumulators and coolers. The OFT does not believe that the merger may be expected to result in a substantial lessening of competition within a market or markets in the United Kingdom The OFT decision in reference approving the merger was given on 21 September, 2012.
