U.S.: Penguin/Random House may be for the better, despite monopoly concerns

Despite concerns that a merger between Penguin and Random House may lead to a monopoly in the book publishing industry, some experts see a less dangerous result from the deal, if approved, even suggesting that book prices may decrease. Their merger may also level-out competition in the e-book sector, say some experts, giving the new company more leverage when dealing with giants like Apple and Amazon.
