U.S.: Solyndra sues competitors for cartel conduct

Solyndra LLC, a bankrupt solar-panel maker that received huge grants from the U.S. government, has accused competitor Suntech Power Holdings Co and other Chinese companies of destroying it by running an illegal cartel, Bloomberg Business reports. According to Solyndra, the accused schemed with each other, raw material suppliers and certain lenders, to flood the U.S. solar market with solar panels at below-cost prices. The U.S. Commerce Department has determined that Suntech, Trina and Yingli dumped solar panels. The case is ongoing.
