U.S.: Supreme Court says TV-watchers out of luck on fighting channel-bundling

A class action brought by the nation’s television viewers against NBC Universal Inc., Viacom Inc. and other TV network giants has been thrown out by the U.S. Supreme Court. The plaintiffs were accusing the networks of channel tying, arguing that the companies violated antitrust law by refusing to allow their customers to buy specific channels instead of an entire package.
