UK: CC prints update on construction materials merger probe

    The regulator posted an issues statement regarding the completed buyout of Aggregate Industries assets by Breedon Aggregates Limited following the Office of Fair Trading’s referral of the matter last September.

    The Commission is now in the midst of an investigation to decide whether the merger negatively affects competition, though a final report on the case is not expected until March of next year.
