The UK’s Office of Fair Trading has announced the publication of its annual report for 2012-2013 to update the public on its recent happenings. The report will be the last OFT update as the regulator prepares to be absolved with the Competition Commission into a new regulator, the Competition and Markets Authority. According to the report, the last year period included 100 merger decisions, with 16 merger referrals made to the Competition Commission. Further, the OFT reviewed 14 markets.
