UK: Prepaid card firm nabs former Competition Commission chairman

Former Competition Commission deputy chairman Laura Carstensen will join prepaid card company Park Group as a non-executive director, according to a press release.

    Carstensen, who was deputy chairman of the CC from 2009 to 2011, will join the company alongside business consultant Michael de Kare-Silver.

    According to the press release, Carstensen will head the company’s audit committee. She remains a member of the Commission and is a former partner of the Slaughter and May law firm.
