Ukraine: Nation preps for peer review of competition policy

Ukraine has reportedly agreed to a Competition Policy Peer Review spearheaded by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. The review is scheduled to take place in Geneva in July of this year. According to UNCTAD, the review aims to finalize the Ukrainian government’s ten-year competition policy program, which reforms the nation’s competition law. UNCTAD’s review will help to further implement those changes. UNCTAD has recently been conducting these reviews in several nations, including many in Africa, to promote healthy competition law within the world’s economies.
