    The Office for the Protection of Competition has cleared Agrofert’s takeover of United Bakeries. United Bakeries is the nation’s biggest bakery group; Agrofert is the Czech Republic’s biggest agro-food group, which owns the nation’s second-largest bakery group, Penam. The watchdog’s approval is conditional upon Agrofert’s concessions, which have yet to be specified.
