US: Antitrust guru Judge Ginsburg to join George Mason University

Judge Douglas Ginsburg, who sits on Washington’s federal appeals court, will reportedly join George Mason University’s law school as a member of its faculty as the university pulls him away from New York University Law School. Judge Ginsburg is a renounced antitrust scholar and author; from 1985 to 1986, Ginsburg served as the Department of Justice’s antitrust division leader. He is also a member of the advisory board for Competition Policy International. Ginsburg will be joining former Federal Trade Commission chairman Timothy Muris on the George Mason faculty. An assistant for Ginsburg told reporters the judge does not speak to the press.
