Keurig, maker of the widely popular single-serve coffee brewer, has been hit with a second antitrust lawsuit, according to reports.
Keurig Green Mountain has been accused of illegally entering into “exclusive anticompetitive agreements designed to maintain Keurig’s monopoly power by excluding competition,” according to court documents. The law suit, filed by The Rogers Family Co. in California, comes just weeks after Illinois firm TreeHouse Foods filed a similar suit against Keurig in Illinois.
The plaintiffs in both cases claim Keurig made exclusive agreements with its distribution partners.
Keurig denied the allegations and stated it plans to fight the lawsuits.
