US: Latest development in Dow Chem price-fixing case sees $1.2B judgment

In the latest twist of a longstanding case accusing Dow Chemical Co. of fixing the prices of urethane products, a judge in Kansas has ordered the company to pay a judgment of $1.2 billion. The company was issued a fine of $400 million for the case last February, a fine appealed by the company. The judgment includes legal fees. The fine was issued in Kansas City.
