US: Will Apple CEO be forced to testify?

As the last company to face authorities over e-book price-fixing allegations, Apple may be required to put its CEO Time Cook on the stand to defend his company against the Department of Justice allegations. The news comes on the heels of recent developments that the biographer of former-CEO Steve Jobs, Walter Isaacson, was cleared from having to testify. Apple’s involvement in the case stems from their iBooks and iBookstore. According to reports, US District Judge Denise Cote’s brief order suggested the court may see Cook on the stand.
