This article deals with the Brazilian antitrust authority (the Administrative Council for Economic Defense – “CADE”) experience on the topic of algorithms and artificial intelligence, specifically in the analysis of cases involving pricing algorithms and measures taken to strengthen its enforcement. To this purpose, it provides a brief theoretical perspective on how specialized literature has dealt with the subject, and addresses the cases investigated by CADE involving algorithmic pricing
