A team of competition lawyers has left a domestic French firm to join Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner’s (BCLP) Paris office. The office has seen rapid growth over the past four months.
Julie Catala Marty has joined the Paris office of BCLP as head of the competition and distribution group. She most recently practised at French domestic firm Franklin, and has brought a counsel and two associates with her. Catala Marty counsels on French and European competition law, including merger control, anti-competitive measures, and allegations of cartels.
“I am thrilled to join BCLP, and launch the Antitrust and Competition Group in France,” Julie Catala Marty commented. “We look forward to drawing on our experience, coupled with BCLP’s global platform, to provide top-level service to our clients and best serve their business needs. The firm’s approach to legal innovation, which is particularly cutting-edge, constitutes real added value from which our clients can benefit.”
Additionally, Partners Claire Fougea and Marion Brière Ségala and their team have joined the firm to significantly bolster the Employment & Labor Practice in Paris. The team includes Charles Mathieu, Fanny Durand, and Margot Jouannet. They join BCLP Paris lawyers Sarah Delon-Bouquet, François Alambret, and Emmanuelle Mercier, bringing the Paris Employment Team to eight lawyers.
