Nordstrom Invests In Wantful

Nordstrom, a Seattle-based upscale fashion retailer, has made an undisclosed investment in online gift-giving service Wantful, according to a press release. The two companies also announced that they will partner for a project called The Nordstrom Gift Collection by Wantful.

“We’re trying new things and continuing to learn in order to improve the online shopping experience for our customers,” Kirk Beardsley, Nordstrom’s vice president of eCommerce, said in a statement. “We’re impressed by Wantful’s innovative and thoughtful approach, and we look forward to continuing to develop our partnership based on how our customers respond.”

The investment follows similar moves from Nordstrom, which previously put capital in online retailer Bonobos.
