Loyalty and eCommerce platform Loylogic has been awarded the Contactless & Mobile Award 2013 for its PointsPay loyalty redemption platform. PointsPay enables loyalty program members to pay for regular retail items by using their points and miles form mobile devices, tablets and computers for in-store and online shopping.
“We are glad to note how the payment industry is looking at PointsPay with interest awarding our solution for the second time this year. In fact we think that the ability to pay with loyalty currencies is a crucial factor in the so called ‘wallet war’ and can add substantial value to any digital and mobile wallet,” said Luca Paioni, head of ePayments at Loylogic and PointsPay. “For this reason we’re developing a PointsPay ‘loyalty currency’ plugin which can be integrated in any other digital wallet.”
Visa Europe sponsored the award, which was given the distinction in London on April 30.
