PayPal Puts An End To Personal Payments In Singapore
As of February 20, Paypal will stop allowing personal payments in Singapore. The move is motivated by regulatory concerns, according to Tech Crunch. Customers will still be able to carry out commercial transactions, but will no longer be able to transfer funds between accounts in the country. However, users will be allowed to receive personal payments from accounts registered outside of Singapore, as long as personal payments are allowed in that country, Paypal has revealed in an update to the story.
