Revention Point of Sale Solutions has integrated with LevelUp- the mobile commerce start-up that leverages QR code technology to execute mobile transactions via smartphones. Revention specializes in customizable restaurant and entertainment management solutions that are designed to streamline internal processes in restaurants. Since the LevelUp’s main customer base is in the food services industry, the partnership between the two firms is a natural fit.

“Over one and a half million consumers are already paying with LevelUp at 14,000 locations across the country,” noted Harald Prokop, CTO of LevelUp in a released statement. “We are excited about the partnership with Revention to provide merchants a seamless integrated solution to to save on processing, grow revenues, and to learn more about their customers.”

Revention’s point-of-sale technology solutions like HungerRush™ integrated online ordering system, will now be intergrated with the LevelUp payment platform. LevelUp allows users to stored credit cards in their phones linked to a unique QR code that an then be scanned at a POS.

The latest integration also supports the company’s next phase of business development. In phase two, LevelUp hopes to increasingly open up as a platform for developers for individual companies to innovate on and to build the best apps with LevelUp kernel of payment support. PYMNTS recently spoke to the LevelUp while visiting their new office in the financial district in downtown Boston.
