The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has issued another warning to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, citing “inefficient and uncertain investigatory practices,” according to BankCreditNews.com.
The CFPB’s lack of clarity surrounding guidelines “directly constrains the lending, especially lending to small businesses that our economy desperately needs in order to grow and create jobs for the millions of Americans who remain unemployed,” said David Hirschman, U.S. Chamber CEO.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce had previously issued a warning to the CFPB in July of 2012.
